Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Attract AI (“we”, “us”) processes information when you use our dating-profile coaching and AI image features. Last updated: May 12, 2026.
1. Summary
We process the photos, prompts, and text you choose to submit so we can provide in-app features (for example profile feedback, photo ranking, and image generation). We use trusted infrastructure and AI vendors under contract. We do not sell your personal information.
2. Categories of data we process
- Photos and screenshots you upload for analysis or generation (may include images of faces in the ordinary sense of photographs, such as profile or chat screenshots).
- Text you enter (for example bios, prompts, match notes).
- Technical and security data such as app diagnostics, limited analytics, and abuse-prevention signals needed to operate the service securely.
- Subscription status as reported by the platform billing provider (we do not receive your full payment card number from Apple).
We do not collect Face ID or Touch ID templates, and we do not use Apple’s biometric authentication APIs to build a separate “faceprint” database.
3. Photos, faces, and how we use them
When you use features that analyze or transform photos, we process those images solely to deliver the in-app experience you request (for example coaching feedback or generated images). We do not use your photos to train our own standalone facial recognition product, and we do not sell photos to advertisers.
Some features send your images (or resized copies) to third-party AI providers so the model can “see” the image the same way a human reviewer would for the purpose of the feature. Details appear in Section 5.
4. Temporary cloud storage (Improve / vision tools)
For certain tools (such as Best Photo Ranker, Profile Score, and Red Flag Detector), the app may upload resized JPEG copies of your selected images to Google Firebase Storage under your authenticated user area. Our backend then reads those objects to run analysis and deletes them from Storage as part of normal completion or error handling. If a request is interrupted (for example network loss or you leave the screen mid-request), copies may remain for a short period until deleted by the app’s cleanup logic or automated bucket retention.
Retention goal: temporary Improve uploads are intended to be removed within minutes of a finished or failed analysis. As a safety net, objects under the temporary Improve prefix may be automatically deleted by server-side lifecycle rules within 7 days if any copy remains. (Exact automation depends on your deployment configuration; contact us if you need confirmation for your account.)
5. Third-party processors (subprocessors)
Depending on the feature you use, data may be processed by:
- Google Firebase / Google Cloud — authentication, Firebase Storage for temporary Improve uploads, Firebase App Check, and related hosting or logging needed to run the app securely.
- OpenAI — cloud models used for text and, where applicable, vision analysis of images you submitted for Improve tools (images are transmitted to OpenAI for processing consistent with OpenAI’s terms and policies).
- Replicate — cloud image generation for features that create new images from your prompt and optional reference photos; inputs are sent to Replicate for that generation request.
- Apple / Google — platform billing, receipts, and subscription status through the App Store or Google Play.
These providers act as processors to deliver the service. Their use of data is governed by their respective policies and our agreements with them, limited to what is needed to perform the processing you trigger in the app.
6. Local storage on your device
Generated images and app preferences may be stored locally on your device (for example in your gallery or in-app studio) so you can access results between sessions. You can remove items from the app or delete the app to remove local content.
7. Retention (general)
We retain information only as long as needed to provide the service, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Aggregated or de-identified statistics may be retained longer where permitted.
8. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), access controls on cloud resources, and server-side secrets for AI keys. No security practice is perfect; if you believe your account or data is at risk, contact us promptly.
9. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries where they operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms.
10. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain personal data, or to object to certain processing. To submit a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your request.
11. Children
Attract AI is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age required by the platform or applicable law for dating-related apps.
